Hearth Day offers us a chance to honor the beauty and value of our particular place on planet Earth.

Join us on Saturday, April 22nd from 11am-4pm at the Henry Hudson Riverfront Park in Hudson, NY for a festival celebrating our home featuring workshops, info tables, and music about sustainability, ecology, climate resilience and healthful living.

Check out our lineup of musical performances curated by A Beautiful Racket.

Anneice is a singer/ songwriter born and raised in the Hudson area. Anneice’s style of music is a genre bending blend of hip hop and r&b. The listener can expect Anneice’s music to feel like a smooth r&b ride through hip hop beats and to be captivated and moved by her powerfully relatable lyrics. Anneice’s theory about music and songwriting is that “ it picks up where words alone aren’t enough to convey true feelings” and in her songwriting she strives to push through the desire to go numb in difficult times and instead free herself through expression and song.

Abby Lappen is a singer/songwriter who lives in New York State's Hudson Valley. She displays her passion for live musical performance with a collection of original songs and meaningful covers in a cross genre mix, from haunting folk and satirical blues to jazzy ballads and syncopated melodies. Abby is an accomplished artist whose unique voice and "crisp guitar" mesmerize audiences with warmth and agility.

Nkoula Badila is a multidisciplinary creator based in Hudson, NY. Her music gains much influence and inspiration from her upbringing, playing traditional Kongolese drums and dancing in her family’s troup, Diata Diata. She gained much experience touring with the cosmic soul band Lady Moon And The Eclipse. Theater and the arts are woven into all that she does. NKODIA’s latest work is her self-made album titled “NZODIAK,” which was released in early July. The album was made in honor of the Zodiac lessons she received throughout the year, universal connections, and messages. “I hope to share how much medicine each month holds, its gifts, and Astral powers!” NKODIA wrote, composed, mixed, and produced the whole album herself. It is available on all platforms for you to enjoy!
