Alan Skerrett, born on January 14, 1937, in Staten Island, NY, dedicated his life to mental health and community development. Over his remarkable 50-year career, he held various positions within New York state government and the non-profit sector. His commitment to fostering positive change and raising consciousness inspired countless individuals throughout the Hudson community and beyond.
The Spark recognizes the profound impact Alan Skerrett had on the Hudson community, both professionally and through his extensive involvement in community activism.
