Join us for a book signing with Dr. Matthew Zakreski, known widely as “Dr. Matt.” Dr. Matt is a clinical psychologist, educator, and internationally recognized speaker specializing in neurodivergent individuals, including those who are gifted, ADHD, autistic, or dyslexic.
The Neurodiversity Playbook is designed as a practical, accessible guide—what Dr. Matt calls a “pocket Dr. Matt”—for gifted and neurodivergent kids and their families navigating a world built for neurotypical brains. Grounded in neuroscience and filled with real-world case examples, the book explores how different brains influence thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
The book addresses often-overlooked challenges such as making and maintaining friendships, communicating needs, regulating emotions, and understanding social context. With his signature blend of clinical expertise and humor, Dr. Matt offers tangible tools and strategies to help neurodivergent individuals thrive
Dr. Zakreski brings years of clinical experience and global speaking engagements to his work, combining research-driven insight with humor and practicality. He holds a PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Widener University, where his research focused on the social and emotional needs of gifted learners and expanded into best educational and occupational practices for neurodivergent people.
Books will be available for purchase, and Dr. Matt will be on hand to sign copies and connect with attendees.
