Perspectives on Toilets: Body, Home, Ecology

Join us for a unique experience with Anas Alkhatib!
We’re excited to welcome Anas Alkhatib, an architect and researcher, for his presentation: "Perspectives on Toilets: Body, Home, and Ecology." Anas will share insights from his MA thesis at Bard College, exploring how toilet design affects psychological, mental, and public health.

Event Details: The presentation will feature a 20-minute talk followed by a 30-minute sketching workshop. Participants will have the chance to express their reflections through drawing and engage in a collective discussion on the importance of toilet design across households.

This interactive workshop will serve as a space for healing, meditation, and critical reflection. Don’t miss this chance to explore the intersection of architecture, human rights, and spatial environments.
